South Jersey Gas Announces First Responders Grant Program

FOLSOM, NJ, November 7, 2016—South Jersey Gas, a subsidiary of South Jersey Industries, Inc. (NYSE: SJI), today announced the inaugural kick-off of its First Responders Grant Program. Twenty (20) grants in the amount of $1,000 each will be awarded to provide critical support for operations conducted by first responder departments.

All paid or volunteer fire, emergency medical services and police departments serving at least one of the municipalities in the South Jersey Gas service area are eligible to apply. Please see a full listing below.

Applicants who meet the criteria of the grant will be selected randomly through a lottery system and announced on Wednesday, November 30.
