South Jersey Gas Presents Leesburg Volunteer Fire Company a $1,000 Grant
February 8, 2017 - Joseph A. Sterling Sr., Leesburg Volunteer Fire Company Captain, and Chief Walter Hughes Jr., pose for a photo after receiving a $1,000 grant from South Jersey Gas. The fire company applied for and received one of 20, $1,000 grants from the South Jersey Industries subsidiary as part of its inaugural First Responders Grant Program. These grants allow South Jersey Gas to provide critical support for operations conducted by first responders. Since receiving the grant, the department has purchased a new projector for
enhanced training and a new fire hose nozzle (pictured).
