EE Grants for Women- and Minority-owned Small Businesses

EE Grants for Women- and Minority-owned Small Businesses

Did you know that the Garden State provides grants for schools and small businesses for energy efficiency improvement projects?

The New Jersey Clean Energy Program provides $180 million in federal grant programs for schools and women- and minority-owned small businesses. Due to high demand, the funding for schools is already committed, but funding is still available for women- and minority-owned small businesses.

These grant programs provide funds to improve air quality and energy performance in educational and business settings, through the repair, maintenance, upgrade, replacement, and installation of certain HVAC systems, and the installation of energy efficient and water-conserving appliances.

Grant funding can cover up to 75% of total project costs to upgrade HVAC, plumbing fixtures, and appliances to meet energy efficiency and health standards.

Learn more about the program at NJCleanEnergy.com/SSBStimulus.

Applications can be found here: HVAC Application (SSB-VEEVR) and Plumbing and Appliance Application (SSB-NPFA).
